Why did you start doGood Global /

The founders decided to resign from corporate America, to pursue building something with meaning, and maybe change the world a little bit. From what we hear in the regular news – We know the world is headed toward the sh*tter. But it’s not all bad, some people “do” some amazing things. We want to share these stories with you. As we monetize, we will give a significant portion of our revenues to try to make the world a better place. We focus our energy and dollars on a cause at a time and let you know how we are doing.

We are a for-profit company. Why not just do a non-profit?

We believe building a sustainable business and sharing is more scalable and has a higher success rate based on the people in the company. Please listen to Dan Pallotta’s TED Talk, “The way we think of charity is dead wrong.”

How much of your revenue do you contribute to causes?

Our goal is to contribute 10% of our top line. (Ben & Jerry’s gives 7.5%) We know most companies are lucky to break even, so we believe this is a good target. We will be very open if we need to change this….

How do you vet your "causes"?

We do a lot of research, due diligence, and seek recommendations. In general, if it’s something we believe in through our study, we will support it. We look for operating history, impact on the world, and tone/voice. If you have any recommendations, please send them to:

Is this a POLITICAL and/or RELIGIOUS avenue?
NO. it’s not. A good act is something that transcends that stuff. You knew at age five what was good and not.
